Priorities:
Thriving Employees
Employee health, well‑being and safety are core priorities. We support physical and mental well‑being through hybrid working arrangements, access to training and development possibilities and budget coaching support. These efforts are reflected in above‑average employee satisfaction scores and below‑average sick leave rates. We also maintained a strong safety performance across our operations.
To further embed well‑being structurally, we will develop and launch a company‑wide well‑being programme. Based on baseline assessments and a long‑term roadmap, this programme will focus on healthy lifestyles, personal development and work‑life balance.
Inclusive Culture
We are committed to an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected and able to contribute. All employees participated in DEI awareness training. Going forward, we will define and align clear DEI priorities across leadership, management and the wider organisation, and integrate DEI criteria into recruitment and talent development processes.
Community Involvement
De Kuyper is committed to contributing positively to the communities in which we operate. We support local social initiatives through targeted sponsorships and active participation in community activities, primarily in and around Schiedam. We have introduced a company‑wide volunteer day, during which employees support selected local NGOs through hands‑on volunteering. Going forward, we aim to roll out this initiative annually across all our sites, increasing employee participation and strengthening our local social impact.
